Nick Hogan Driven to Jail
Today 1:26 PM PDT
Nick Hogan is drifting to jail.
Angst-ridden, but appearing ready to accept his fate, the son of pro-wrestling legend Hulk Hogan pleaded no contest today to a felony charge of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. The plea, entered in a Pinellas County, Fla., courtroom, stemmed from an August car crash that left passenger John Graziano in critical condition.
"Every single day I think about the accident…and pray for John every chance I get," said Hogan, whose real name is Nick Bollea. "There will never be a day in my life where I ever will forget this. I know for a fact that I've apologize to the Grazianos…I do genuinely mean that, I'm terribly sorry."
But Judge Philip Federico showed little mercy, sentencing the 17-year-old to eight months in county jail along with five years' probation and 500 hours of community service for drag-racing under the influence of alcohol and causing the Aug. 26 wreck.

A-List Secrets: Gettin' Paid (a Whole Lot) to Party
Today 12:59 PM PDT
How much do celebs get paid to host evenings at the clubs? Us normal people can't go anywhere near the VIP section, so why pay them to be there?

Actually, it's a safety measure. You really don't want to get too close to the hot, sulfurous air being blown out of Heidi & Spencer's various orifices. Might cause third-degree burns. So listen up.
Top-name celebrities charge up to $50,000 for two hours work, according to Robert Tuchman, whose TSE Sports & Entertainment company does nothing but book celebrities for hosting gigs.
By top-name, we mean Lindsay Lohan and up, not Spiedi and down. See what B- and C-listers bank, and why you're not allowed anywhere near them, after the jump.

Lindsay Lohan's Rep: Leave Her Alone!
Today 12:47 PM PDT
The fur is flyin’ in Lindsay Lohan’s camp.
I just got off the phone with her rep, who insists Lohan did not steal that fur coat or any clothing belonging to the New York City model accusing her of theft.
“This is crazy!” says Lohan’s rep. “They are being paid for their interviews. I want that on the record. The bombing of Lindsay has to stop. She is in a good place right now. Why can’t everyone leave her alone?”
Model Lauren Hastings claims that she has witnesses who saw Lohan earlier this year going through her closet and handing a bag of her belongings to a bodyguard during a party thrown by a housesitter at Hasting’s New York pad.
And as you’ve probably heard by now, fellow New Yorker Masha Markova claimed that Lohan lifted her fur during a night out in NYC.
But that’s not all. The rep is already shooting down an upcoming tabloid report that says Lohan had a fling two years ago with Bobby Brown’s son, Landon Brown. “They might as well print I had an affair with him, too,” the rep said. “They’ll print anything.”
Sneak Pics: Sienna, Dennis Suit up for G.I. Joe
Today 12:37 PM PDT
She's not exactly a real American hero, but Brit Sienna Miller's still pretty hot as the villain Baroness in new pics from the far-off G.I. Joe flick.
Due in summer 2009, the movie's got a huge cast of real-life action figures, with Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid, Marlon Wayans and Rachel Nichols. Plus Ray "Darth Maul" Park and Korean TV/pop star Lee Byung-hun as dueling ninjas.
Wait, was there a Wayans brother in there?
Anyway, click into our Sneak Peeks From Flicks gallery to see more pics, and let us know: Are you psyched for this or over it already?
Ellen: Jessica Alba's Having a Girl!
Today 12:34 PM PDT
Who knew Ellen DeGeneres was a soothsayer? The multitalented yakker predicted the sex of Jessica Alba's baby during the mom-to-be's appearance on her chatfest Friday.
Holding a ring over the Fantastic Four star's belly, the talk-show hostess said she thinks the baby will be a girl!
Be sure to check back here in a few weeks when news of Jessica giving birth will no doubt be overshadowed by all the reports about whether or not Ellen was right—heck, she's got a 50-50 shot.
Coldplay Warms Up for the Road
Today 11:26 AM PDT
Looks like Chris Martin's ready to work on Apple and Moses' college fund.
He and his Coldplay pals just announced the first batch of dates for their world tour in support of their upcoming fourth studio album, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, which hits stores June 17.
After two free shows, London's Brixton Academy on June 16 and New York's Madison Square Garden on June 23, the easy-rocking Brits will kick off the paying portion of Viva La Vida on June 29 in Philly and target mainly arenas, along with the odd stadium and festival.
After the initial North American dates wrap Aug. 4 in Chicago, the band will jet to Japan for gigs in Osaka and Tokyo on Aug. 9 and 10. The second North American leg launches Oct. 20 in Montreal and ends Nov. 22 in Salt Lake City.
Fans can win tickets for the free London and Big Apple shows by registering at coldplay.com.

Joaquin to (Johnny) Cash in on Record Deal?
Today 11:26 AM PDT
Joaquin Phoenix has walked the line, now he's walking the walk.
His turn as Johnny Cash was apparently as inspiring as it was inspired: The Oscar-nominated actor is cutting an album of his own with help from Tim Burgess, the frontman for British rock outfit The Charlatans.
Burgess told Billboard that plans for the project came about after Phoenix took more than a mere liking to guitar playing, which he learned for his 2005 Walk the Line role, calling it a cathartic process.
"Once he learnt guitar he found that he had quite a lot of demons inside himself that he wanted to expel through music," Burgess said.
Phoenix performed in character on the Grammy-winning Walk the Line soundtrack, contributing nine songs, four of which were duets with costar Reese Witherspoon. The album has gone gold and peaked at No. 9. Phoenix also performed a set of Cash tunes in 2005 at the Man in Black's most famous venue, Folsom State Prison.
As for his new endeavor, Phoenix is taking his time to complete it, according to his collaborator.
"All the tracks...were brilliant," says Burgess. "But I think he just kept scrapping everything or redoing everything. I'm sad to say that I think it's one of those records that may never come out, to be honest with you."
