Miley Sends Shout-out to "Amazing" Fans

Miley Cyrus was fully dressed and ready for her close-up Saturday night.
Performing onstage for the first time since last week's Vanity Fair photo flap, the Hannah Montana star headlined a Disney-sponsored concert in Orlando, and thanked her screaming minions for their support.
"First of all, I think all of us here can say thank you," she said before beginning her set. "I can't think of how many would stand in the rain to come in here. Thank you all for coming out tonight, you're all amazing."
At the end of her performance at the Disney Channel Games concert, the 15-year-old songbird pointed out a sign held up by a fan.
"Thank you guys and I hope you all had an awesome time tonight," she said. "And I see a sign back there with my name on it that says, 'Miley, I'm praying for you,' and I could not be more appreciative of that."
Last week, the tween queen apologized for the racy magazine featuring her in nothing more than a blanket and skipped a scheduled media event in advance of her concert.
Since then, though, she's tried to reinforce her squeaky-cleanliness, going to Disney World and being photographed—in clothes—with Mickey and Minnie.

LOL Miley did the Paula Abdul PR thing, dressing neatly and innocently after a scandal. At least Miley is still young & can learn, but what's old-menopausal-has-been Paula's excuse.

Sounds like "Suzu's petals" is a little jealous. Miley is young but is quickly become a woman. Give her a break. She will not stay with Disney all her life. I wish people would drop the puritanical, holier than thou attitudes. Go for it Miley, youve earned it! After putting up with Disney all these years.

Miley has nothing to be ashamed of. She didn't show any more than a teenager on the beach would show. If this were a child in a third world country with a national geographic photographer we wouldn't think twice of it. Because it's a Disney girl with christian values we stone her like she's committed a very unforgiveable crime. She showed her back, and as far as I can remember that still makes a PG rated movie rating!

Miley, i went to one of your concerts in chicago in jan. 2008! i was on the right side, SCREAMING MY HEAD OFF! i was wearing a light pink Miley shirt!

I'm sure that these past couple weeks have been trying for Miley, and so it certainly must feel like an encouraging relief for her to receive this kind of support. A large segment of our country nowadays derives a lot of enjoyment in trashing people in the public eye, and so I hope that Miley continues to be as strong as she appears. She has a very good chance of salvaging her career if she keeps herself on the straight-and-narrow. She's young enough to learn and grow, and I truly hope she does. I'm not a big fan of hers, but I hate to see it when someone who is doing well throws away their success. There's a good chance this won't happen with Miley.

Please! Why are 95% of the current celebs aged 15-35 so predictably lame? Don't confuse Paris', Britney's and Lindsey's behaviors as being something to aspire to. Unless, of course, you are ok with ending up the poster child for DUIs, a joke, or something like that.

Can't really blame Miley. All teens, well most, love posing/being sexy. I blame the adults, her parents. She will survive this, just hope it's a lesson well leaned by all involved.

It doesn't matter how much she says she was manipulated...SHE was there, SHE took her clothes off and wrapped herself in a sheet, and SHE knew it was being photographed. Don't play dumb now, saying you didn't know what was going to happen just makes you look even more stupid than you already are...
