Could Britney Spears be heading back home to Louisiana?
Yes, we hear exclusively that the popstress has promised her little sister that she'd return home to Kentwood, La., when Jamie Lynn gives birth. We hear the official due date is June 29.
"At the baby shower, she told her little sister she wanted to be there for her the entire time," said a friend close to the Spears family. "I'm not sure how Casey is going to feel about that. But Jamie Lynn seems pretty excited."
There’s just one hitch.
Britney has to ask her daddy for permission to go.
"She had to ask him if it was OK to go back for the shower," said the friend, adding that the baby shower was the first time Britney had been home in 16 months. "He has to give her permission to travel, and the money to do it. It's not that he doesn't want her there for her little sister. It's just that he thinks it's best to keep Britney close to home right now."
Well, we understand that, given Brit's recent mischief-making past. But do our insiders really think he might stop Brit from going?
"Oh, probably not," said the Britney pal. "It would be pretty coldhearted to say no."
Sounds like Jamie Lynn may be getting some help from sis when the baby comes.

I wish people would back off of Britney. Let her live her life without all of the **** speculation and magnifying glasses. She's trying to recover, and she's doing a good job. Hope you had a great mothers day, B.

I think that it's a good thing that Britney wants to be there for her sister. It's good that they are rebuilding their relationship because at one time they were very close.

"Back off"??? With the money she has she could easily lay low for 6-9 months. Has she? NO, she parties, gets into accidents. Does everything a person trying to bring order to their life doesn't do. She's an idiot and her motivation, her two sons just shows how stupid and "white trash" she is!

L.A. to LA. Kentwood, Louisiana is so small the have like one red light. I mean it's so small they could have the whole town carpeted. Exagerating of course but believe me it's really small. There's a Kentwood Brand Spring Water plant around there but other than that it's just pine trees and cattle farms. Quite a change from L.A. Good place to unwind.

Everyone does something drastic when they freak out, she just has the money and spotlight to do it big. So what?! She is human and needs her family just like everyone else. Break-ups can be hard enough without having been married and having children.

I think she's just an ordinary girl in an extraordinary world. I think people should stop judging her as she is only human and she makes mistakes! Nothing she has done has been out of spite or to harm anyone else, so why should you be offended? Leave her alone and if you have nothing better to do than to sit on your high horse and judge Britney, take a look at your own life, I bet you haven't always done the right thing, and if you think you are perfect, then you've got more mental problems than Britney's ever had because your dilluted! Yay for Brit I say, I hope she gets better soon and keeps pumping out the awesome tunes and leads a happy life because that girl ROCKS!

Hmmm, I'm not sure where Lynn is right now, but I somehow doubt she's in Louisiana. Jamie Lynn has spent the majority of her pregnacy ALONE in Louisiana while her mother has been in LA "taking care of Brit." I think "good" parents would find a better way to be there for both of their kids. For example, maybe Jamie (the dad) could've stayed with Brit and Lynn could be there for Jamie Lynn. I still think Lynn is an awful parent.

You can't undo history; it doesn't matter if she is coming back!! She already messed up her career... How can you respect some who does that to their children and them self? You can’t!! She can't take the presser so she should quit and go home. Think about her two sons, not her career!! THAT IS OVER!!! She still can try to be some what of a good mom to them, that's what she should focuses on, they should be the most important thing to her!!!
