Leonardo DiCaprio's latest geofriendly message comes in a timely manner.

The Oscar-nominated actor has teamed up with watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre to develop two luxe timepieces to benefit his eponymous fund at the California Community Foundation, which helps spread the actor's ecological sensibilities.

"We all have to do our part to raise awareness about global warming and the problems we as a people face in promoting a sustainable environmental future for our planet," DiCaprio said Tuesday.

In addition to this campaign, which has been dubbed Time to Care, Jaeger-LeCoultre has also developed an intracompany Making Time More Beautiful program, which encourages recycling and energy conservation within its own walls.

The DiCaprio-approved watches will become available this fall. One of the two designs is a version of the carbon-fiber-and-titanium Master Compressor Extreme Lab that the actor wore to the premiere of his planet-in-peril documentary The 11th Hour.

Personally inscribed with the A-lister's signature, its value is estimated at $300,000 (which should buy a whole lot of carbon credits).

The second limited-edition piece, valued at $400,000, is Jaeger's 175th-anniversary Reverso Gyrotourbillon 2, which is made out of platinum.
