Britney Spears: Inside Her New York Birthday Party
Britney Spears can't stop turning 27—or at least celebrating it, anyway.
Not only did she have a candle-covered cake at a London nightclub on Saturday, but just this morning she was serenaded by celebs like Hugh Jackman after her "Womanizer" performance on Good Morning America.
And as I type this, the doors are open for her big circus-themed bash at New York's Tenjune nightclub. Already inside are Heidi Klum, Lance Bass and Lipstick Jungle's hot guy Rob Buckley. And the lady of honor just arrived in a little gray and black dress with "major cleavage," says a partygoer.
Inside, according to a partygoer, the place is done up like a circus tent with a hot-dog stand and popcorn and cotton-candy machines emblazoned with the pop star's name. And outside, there's a huge screen projecting circus imagery.
There's even a dude on stilts. (If you haven't heard by now, Brit-Brit's new album is called Circus.)
Make sure to click back later for more details. No doubt the party will be going until the wee hours. But until then, the circus goes on in our Britney B-Day gallery.

Britney's Former Pal: "I Can't Talk to Her Right Now"
Britney Spears' former constant companion and sidekick Alli Sims was out in Beverly Hills today, and she told E! News exclusively that she's still forbidden from talking to the pop star.
"I can't talk to her right now," she said when asked if she was prohibited from talking to Britney by her father, Jamie Spears, and the lawyers. "Maybe that will change at some point."
Sources tell E! News that Britney's dad, who is coconservator of his daughter's affairs, will not allow Alli to have any contact with Britney. Prior to Britney's meltdown earlier this year, Sims, 27, along with Sam Lutfi, was a near-constant companion of the pop star.
Even though she hasn't been able to talk to Spears in some time, Sims still remembered it was Britney's big day.
"I hope she has a great birthday," Sims told E! News. "Happy birthday. I love you."
Dylan McDermott Divorced
Dylan McDermott didn't need The Practice for this one.
The actor's divorce from his fashion-plate wife of 13 years, Shiva Rose, has been finalized, according to court documents filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. (View the documents.)
The paperwork did not indicate what sort of custody arrangement the two arrived at concerning their two daughters, 12-year-old Colette and 3-year-old Charlotte Rose, but McDermott's original petition stated that he wanted joint custody.
Indicating that he would be acting as his own attorney in the proceedings, the star of the short-lived Big Shots filed for divorce in May, about 10 months after he and Rose separated. The standard irreconcilable differences was cited as the reason for the split.
Per today's filing, McDermott and Rose will not officially be singletons until the mandatory six-month waiting period concludes Jan. 2.

Colbert Calls Upon Nation to Crush Kanye
Stephen Colbert is teaching Kanye West about the true meaning of Christmas.
Utter and total chart domination, of course.
Convinced that he should be selling more albums, the fauxservative funnyman has called upon Colbert Nation to knock the Grammy winner off his high iTunes horse by swarming the online music store Wednesday at exactly 5 p.m. ET to snatch up A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All!—all with an eye on dethroning Kanye's latest album, 808s & Heartbreak, currently iTunes' No. 1 download.
Somehow, Colbert's Xmas album is dawdling at No. 16, despite the fact that Kanye is only tied for fifth place, along with Crocs, in the race to be the voice of this generation.
"This is war, and I'm calling for a surge," Colbert declared as he prepared to bring out the big guns—his own arrogance—to conquer Kanye's ego.

Gary Coleman Pleads No Contest in Bowling Brawl
Gary Coleman's bowling for plea bargains.
The Diff'rent Strokes star pleaded no contest today to charges of disorderly conduct and reckless driving, both misdemeanors, stemming from his alleged September throwdown with a fellow kegler at a Utah bowling alley.
Coleman was ordered to pay a $100 fine for the first charge. The judge agreed to expunge the second count if the pint-sized former kid star behaves himself for a year.
Coleman, 40, didn't take kindly to fellow bowler Colt Rushton snapping photos of the entertainer and his on-off 22-year-old wife, Shannon Price, while the pair hit the lanes. The beef purportedly ended with Coleman's truck clipping Rushton as the couple exited the parking lot.
For his efforts, Coleman also earned a civil assault suit from Rushton seeking damages for minor injuries allegedly suffered in the incident.

Roman Polanski Moves to Strike 1978 Sex Charge
Thirty years after the fact, Roman Polanski would like to move on with his life.
The 75-year-old filmmaker filed a motion Tuesday to dismiss the child-sex charge that has had him avoiding America like the plague since the 1970s.
Polanski pleaded guilty in 1978 to unlawful intercourse with a minor for having sex with a 13-year-old girl but, fearing that the judge was going to renege on the agreement to keep him out of jail, he fled the United States before being sentenced and has technically been a fugitive from justice ever since.
