John's Performing Just for Jen
Things are heating up between Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer since their steamy weekend in South Beach last month. According to In Touch magazine, John's planning to perform at the upcoming wrap party for Jen's new movie Marley & Me.
The soiree isn't until Saturday, but Life & Style reports the rocker's already back in Miami and shacking up at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, where Jen just so happens to be staying.
The party was originally set for Friday, but everything was moved around so her man could have plenty of time to prep for the performance. He's reportedly set to perform three songs at the Nikki Beach bash.
"It's hot and heavy, but in a very cool way," says a source. Sounds like it—even if the two aren't serious per se, Jen's getting some serious benefits out of being John's friend.

Look at the nice quality of this picture- it looks like Jen and John cooperated with the photographer. This just reeks of a desperate publicity stunt. Jen, you're desperation for attention just looks pathetic- it certainly doesn't make me want to see you in any more movies.

Ally what are you smoking? They look like they are enjoying a nice lunch and are being spied on. I don't think you have the right to judge someone you do not personally know. She deserves happiness just like your judgemental pathedic self.

If you know anything about photography jes (and you obviously don't), then you can tell that if they were being spied on, the quality of the photo wouldn't be anywhere near that good. Or what are you, Jennifer Aniston's publicist? Sorry to blow your cover.

This does seem like a stunt but give Jen a break the biggest thing thats happened to her since Friends is getting dumped by Brad. her movie career is a joke

If I am a woman of 100M worth like Jen, would I even hunt for attention? I don't think so. Jen is rich and confident. Everyone including publicists knows that Jen is private. She is not fake. Thus I agree with the positive comments from jes, lokimaker, ally and mrs. bloom.

I think Jen is a good comedic actress, but she obviously wants this attention. She has the money (as Chris pointed out) to stay private if she wants! You don't see other major actresses (like Julia Roberts, for example) getting photographed as much or all these little pieces written about them. You think her people couldn't stop this piece we're all talking about from being published? E! would yank it in a second if they were told that running the piece meant she wouldn't do interviews with them anymore. Grow up.

I love celeb gossip as much as the next girl, but the cattiness is getting outta hand. They're grownups, why can't they be pals, boff, do lunch or whatever they wanna do without a bunch of nasty "it's all fake for the cameras" nonsense. Let 'em enjoy one another's company, since last I checked, getting to know one another is a normal stage of both friendship and romance. They're both good looking and photogenic anyway so we might as well enjoy the pics.

ally you are so stupid, if you knew anything then you would know that the paps always get good quality photos of celebs. um... that's their job. thats what they get paid for, to get these kind of good photos. if they see any celebrity, they are all over it taking pictures so they can get money, and the better the shot the more money. so get over yourself!!

Kate, With all due respect, maybe Jen just don't care if she's photographed or not anymore. Alot of celebs just don't care anymore cuz the paps are gunna click away and write what they want regardless. But in my opinion, I don't see this as her *needing* attention. Oh, btw *** on a side note, yes, Julia Roberts IS getting more and more pap attention these days too *** just today she was photographed with mrs. becks. And personally I dont think Julia is in *need* of attention either.

Jen Aniston is a beautiful woman * surprised she's been available as long as she has. She probably got to a point where she wanted to be good with herself * without Brad Pitt. I hope she finds love and happiness * everyone deserves that. Even the rich and famous and gorgeous! Way to go Jennifer!!!! John * be good to her. **

it looks like the waiter could have taken it (secret camera and all) or even another diner. They both look oblivious to anything apart from each other. Jen doesnt need nor fish for attention. You guys should stop being soo mean. She's adorable...

The only was Jennifer Aniston can get any attention is to date a celebrity. She's obviously not going to get any attention from bombbuster career. Evidently she's only good at ensemble casting (like Friends) but can't hold it on her own. And any movie that she's been in that was good is not because SHE was in it but because of the other cast members who are more talented. John Mayer is having a nice taste of the hollywood ladies. I doubt this one is longlasting either. And I don't care WHO she dates and don't want to hear about her anymore. Fade to Black.

Everyone is saying poor Jen- she needs the publicity.Get over yourselves Jen is established, she doesn't need man candy or the paparazzi to help her get publicity. On the other hand what about this John guy, I think he's trying to get name recognition by bagging all the hollywood hotties. You mentioned staging the picture- well which face do you see more of? Jen or Mr. Bojangles there?

you know what? it doesn't matter where she's at, who she dates, etc. she's always being scrutinized. for what? for the men she's been dating? everybody's still in the brad-jen then brad-angie phase. everybody gets it: most are in love with the brad-angie coupling (hence the utmost hatred for jen, who's not even doing anything harmful to the public and is just being herself.)just leave her be. gosh, if she wasn't a celebrity, would people make a big deal out of it? no, because it's what every normal people do. they date. what do you want her to do? feel sorry for herself until she dies? she's finding herself and it's her choice. don't misconstrue what she does just because you don't like her. she's moving on,just as brad and angie are moving on. let them live their lives the way they want to. it's their say and not ours.
