Heidi Klum, There's Someone We'd Like You to Meet

Heidi Klum Jordache Ad Rankin

Last year’s Jordache ads featuring Heidi Klum were so successful, the company invited her back. And since she was coming back, why not design some jeans, too?

That’s how a special 15-piece collection designed by the supermodel, Heidi Klum by Jordache, will make its way to stores everywhere this fall. But looking at this ad that accompanies Heidi's designs, we gotta say there’s something very familiar about this look.

What could it be? Oh! We remember…

When Starlets Wear the Same Dress: Paris vs. Paris vs. Paris

We totally understand why Paris Hilton is so drawn to these Smoke & Mirrors wrap dresses, even if they are $355 a pop—after all, when was the last time you remember her having that much cleavage? Talk about smoke and mirrors, right?! (Ah, jokes.)

And check out this fun fact: Smoke & Mirrors is co-designed by Project Runway contestant Emily Brandle, who was auf-ed two episodes ago for her kinda fug corsage dress and always wore the annoying hippie/Mary-Kate Olsen headbands.

Getting voted off ProjRun can't be that bad, though, when Paris Hilton is special-ordering your dress in 10 different colors.

Think this dress is awesome enough to own in every color? Or should P. change it up more often?

Record Numbers Hit the Runway Premiere

Project Runway Season 5 Bravo

New York is obviously the place to see and be seen. Well, being Heidi Klum helps with the latter.

Nearly 3 million people tuned in to the fifth-season premiere of Project Runway last night, giving Bravo its largest-ever audience for a series season premiere, according to figures released by the network.

And of the 2.915 million who tuned in for the Peabody Award-winning competition show's last season on Bravo before it heads to Lifetime, a record 1.81 million fell into that oh-so-important 18-49-year-old bracket, the age group most attractive to the advertisers who stick all those annoying commercials in between snips of the scissors.

Project Runway Fashions New Crop of Wannabes

Project Runway Season 5 Bravo

Impending jumps to Lifetime, Los Angeles and Marie Claire aside, Bravo is doing its best to ensure that its final New York-set season of Project Runway goes out in style.

Aiming to bring some of the show's signature drama out of the headlines and back to the small screen, the cable net has announced, just two days before the reality show's fifth season premiere, the newest flock of designers and guest judges who will do their best to avoid being auf'd.

In addition to host Heidi Klum, judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia and mentor Tim Gunn, the 16 fierce wannabes will face off against guest judges Natalie Portman, Brooke Shields, LL Cool J, star stylist Rachel Zoe, RuPaul, Apolo Anton Ohno and Sandra Bernhard, as well as big-name designers Diane von Fürstenberg, Cynthia Rowley and Calvin Klein creative director Francisco Costa.

And then, of course, there's the camera-ready crop of contestants.

Heidi Klum's Sackful of Shoes

Heidi Klum PacificCoastNews.com

Sure, she's a super-successful supermodel-mogul-mother, but Heidi Klum is still down-to-earth enough to tote around a fortune in fancy footwear in a plastic bag.

What do you think of her low-tech tote for her high heels? (We love it.)

Heidi: Project Runway Getting Some Work Done

Heidi Klum reveals that to fit in when the show moves to Los Angeles, Project Runway will get a “facelift.” (No word on whether it'll get a boob job, though.)

The supermodel tells Forbes.com that although the concept of the hit series will remain the same, it will feature new catchphrases and the runway itself will have “more Hollywood flair.”

We welcome fierce new phrases. But what's a runway with "Hollywood flair?" Is Heidi going to make the models walk down freeway on-ramps?

Project Runway Is Makin' Whoopi for the Tonys

The Tony Awards are gonna be fierce this year.

We can exclusively report that show host Whoopi Goldberg will be wearing a design by Project Runway winner Christian Siriano on the big night.

"I am dressing Whoopi Goldberg for the Tonys," Siriano revealed the other night at the Declare Yourself and American Eagle celebrity T-shirt launch in Los Angeles.

Reps for the Tonys and Goldberg confirmed Siriano's latest gig.

The Tonys will be handed out at Radio City Hall in New York City June 15 and telecast live on CBS.

Meanwhile, the New York Daily News reported yesterday that Goldberg has gotten the Big Apple's mayor, Michael Bloomberg, to tape a bit for the show. "He's my friend, and who better to start the night than the mayor of New York City?" Goldberg told the News.

Heidi + Nina = MC2

Heidi Klum, Marie Claire Marie Claire

Heidi Klum is on the cover of Marie Claire. Quelle surprise! Not only has Nina been seen talking to the MC folks, but the magazine is rumored to be taking over Elle's spot on Project Runway when its contract runs out.

So it doesn't exactly shock us to see Klum splashed across this month's MC cover wearing a facial expression that pretty much says, “I eat Elle for breakfast.”

Still, we can't decide if we like all this mag wrangling. Either it's a monumental shift for Project Runway (from glam to kinda glam), or it's a move that suggests Marie Claire is going to be the place to be for hot tranny fierceness.

We hope for Heidi’s sake it’s the latter.

Nina Garcia's Ugly Moment?

More from Marc Malkin

Nina Garcia made a cameo in last week’s episode of Ugly Betty, but I’m told things didn’t go too smoothly.

A source spills that Project Runway judge and ousted Elle editor repeatedly flubbed her lines during the shoot. “It took, like, hours,” the source says. “They had to keep doing take after take after take. And it was for, like, the smallest bit!”

Meanwhile, things continue to be a bit awkward for Garcia and Project Runway. I’m told Runway producers are still trying to hammer out how they’ll describe Garcia next season now that she’s no longer with the magazine.

When I asked if there was any update, Runway executive producer Jane Cha said, “Not yet!”
