Does Hannah Montana Know Scotty?

Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), Lustra Nancy Kaszerman/ZumaPress.com, Freedom Rock/Lustramusic.com

Music today all sounds the same.

Still, the L.A. band Lustra is wondering whether the Hannah Montana song “Rockstar” sounds a little too similar to its song “Scotty Doesn’t Know,” which was used in the movie Eurotrip in 2004.

A spokesperson for Hannah Montana mouthpiece Miley Cyrus directed us to Hollywood Records; the label has not yet responded a request for comment.

The band, of course, did have something to say in a press release. “If Hannah Montana wants us now, who is next? The Jonas Brothers?” asks Lustra’s frontman, Chris Baird.

Yes, we get the feeling he might be enjoying this.

Give the two tunes a listen after the jump. Then tell us what you think in the comments.

Dolly "Shocked" by the Shock-Jock Treatment

Howard Stern, Dolly Parton Steve Granitz/WireImage.com, Lisa O'Connor/ZUMAPress.com

Dolly Parton doesn't care to be just one of the pack. The Wack Pack, that is.

The iconic country star has taken major, major offense at one of the Sirius Satellite Radio-approved bits presented frequently on Howard Stern's morning show, in which his crackerjack producers mash up celebrity quotes to make it sound as if the star in question has just said something totally raunchy—treatment that has been given in the past to statements made by William Shatner, Oprah, Stern show regular George Takei and others.

All of which is usually pretty funny, albeit gross.

But instead of laughing, Parton is now threatening to sue Stern for making it sound as if she liberally spewed racist and racy sentiments.

Sarah Jessica's Fashion Emergency

Sarah Jessica Parker, Vogue Magazine Vogue

"Aren't we all supposed to be a little bit the victim of trends? I can look back at pictures of myself with the great assurance that I will be embarrassed by about 60 percent of them. This is the nature of fashion—admiring the wrong girl, you know, looking at the wrong picture, wishing you were somebody else. And that's the developmentally correct thing."

Ashton: "Why Would I Want to Get Married?"

Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore Roger Wong/INFphoto.com

“When I first met Demi, I was 25 years old, hosting Saturday Night Live, on the cover of Rolling Stone and had the number one show on cable TV and the top show on Fox. I might have thought, ‘I’m a pretty hugely successful young person right now. Why would I want to get married to a woman with three kids and an ex-husband who’s a legendary star?' "

Ashton Kutcher to Parade.com, explaining how he might have used logic to talk himself out of “the smartest decision” he says he ever made: marrying Demi Moore

Happy Mother's (and Others) Day

Jayden James Federline X17online.com

We don't know if it actually takes a village to raise a celebrity child, but it does seem to take an army of nannies, mannies, bodyguards and drivers to get the job done.

So on the day we celebrate the awesomeness of moms, we thought we'd take a moment to salute all the other caregivers.

And who knows, maybe you'll get a bonus or something, too.

New BFF Alert! Julia & Posh?

Julia Roberts and her kids having playdates at the park with Victoria Beckham and her brood?

It could happen.

I hear the Oscar winner and Posh Spice got along famously at the Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday night.

“They hit it off right away,” a source close to the new pals tells me. So much so that it wasn’t long before the two moms were sharing family pictures. “They were showing each other photos of their kids,” my source says. “They were just laughing and sharing mommy stories.”

Mrs. Becks certainly has made herself at home in Hollywood. Roberts is just the latest addition to an A-list roster of friends that already includes Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria Parker and Kate Beckinsale.

Alec Vows No More Mean Voice Mails

Alec Baldwin, 30 Rock NBC

Say what you want about Alec Baldwin, but the man clearly learns from his (very public) mistakes. Sort of.

"If you go through the things I have gone through with the media, like this thing with my daughter, there's only one thing that comes to mind initially: That is how my daughter must have felt to have this played out in public," he tells 60 Minutes of that voice mail in an interview to air Sunday.

"The second thing I realize is, you can pretty much bet all you own that I would never leave another voice mail message for my daughter that wasn't just like something out of a Rodgers & Hammerstein score."

But while the 30 Rock star may refrain from calling his daughter a "thoughtless little pig" on a recorded medium again, he, much to the enjoyment of the public, apparently won't be exercising similar restraint with regard to those on his ex-wife's payroll.

When asked by Morley Safer whether it was appropriate to call Kim Basinger's divorce lawyer "a 300-pound homunculus with a face like a clenched fist," Baldwin replies, "I was being kind, Morley."

Jack Donaghy couldn't have said it better himself.

Osmond Blasts Cyrus' Siring Skills

Marie Osmond, Billy Ray Cyrus Jeff Frank/ZUMAPress.com, Steve Granitz/WireImage.com

Pot, meet kettle.

Marie Osmond, that doll-making savior of Middle America, has uncharacteristically lashed out at Billy Ray Cyrus' parenting skills in the wake of daughter Miley's back-baring photo flap.

"My parents never, never left us alone," the little-bit-country one told AOL Television. "We always had some form of a guardian or something with us, a guardian that would represent what they would have done. But in [Miley's] case, her dad stepped out [of the photo session], and that's when it happened.

"How do you say no to somebody like Annie [Leibovitz] when you're a little girl? It's an interesting thing that happened with her."

Also interesting, perhaps at least to Cyrus, is that Osmond's own adopted teenage son checked himself into rehab just last year.

In his defense, when there's no form of a guardian around—when they're busy, say, fainting on national television—it's hard to say no to somebody like Jack [Daniels].

Denise Richards: "No-Win Situation"

Denise Richards, Redbook Magazine Redbook

"I'm in a no-win situation. If I have my kids on the show, I'm exploiting them. If I don't, people will think I'm not a hands-on mom. That's why it's very important to me that the girls are a part of it—but only when it makes sense."

Ashlee Simpson: Ninja Dancer

"My girlfriend kisses my hand three times, and my band and I have this thing called 'the ninja,' where we clap our hands and give each other our energy and do a weird little ninja dance, and then we say a really bad word afterwards."
